Barry Silverfoot lead investigator for New York Paranormal releases first ever accounts of a Bigfoot attack and kidnapping by two Bigfoots at once in Upstate New York. This book is based on true events related to Barry by a school teacher from New York. Names have been changed to protect identity.
This book is dedicated to Gail and her husband Bob. To their family and their undying devotion to the study and investigations to find Bigfoot and understand its place in our world. Gail’s search for the truth will go on until all her questions are answered. Her husband will continue to support her and be at her side helping her investigate this creature’s behavior and will not stop until the scientific community accepts this creature as real. After three years of psychotherapy and counseling Gail was encouraged by her loving husband to talk about what happened to her and to get the story out for people to know and be warned not to go into the woods alone, ever. Her husband Bob gave his accounts to the events also backing up what Gail has claimed to be a true story.

I was skeptical when deciding to purchase this book because it was supposedly true. I have been involved in my own Bigfoot research in New York State for over 30 years now and thought there may be something to this story. However, after catching the author go from first to second person accounts several times in the book, it was easy to see that even he was confused when he was supposed to be writing about Gail's' true life account but instead was writing his own fictional story. Secondly, as far as I am aware, man is the only primate that sees the female breast as a sex object. Hard to believe that a male Bigfoot is more interested in the upstairs parts as compared to those located downstairs. Third, if the NYS Dept. of Parks and Recreation, the NYS State Police, the local Search and Rescue and/or any of the above were involved in the search for Gail, an official report would have been taken. Money, time and the efforts of others involved in a search dictate that an "Official Interview" into the account of how an individual became lost needs to take place. However, it appears from the author that Gail was too upset and that this type interview did not take place. I think any authorities involved in this rescue would have required an official account of the occurrences from Gail, whether taken the night she was found or soon after. Lastly, in my opinion, I think that most people, if abducted by two Bigfoot from the woods outside of their cabin and then had to go through extensive counseling to get over it, would likely sell the cabin where this took place and never return. Gail and her husband, did not.I also was unhappy with the price paid considering the few pages in this book. It frankly can be read very easily during an extended visit to a rest room.
Now, I must also point out that there is some good information in this book about Bigfoot habits and their interactions with humans. Rock throwing, nest, hiding behind trees, vocalizations etc., these accounts align with my own experiences and research. I would not be so critical if this book was listed as fiction. It is a nice little read when taken into that context.
I think there may be some truth interwoven with the imagination of the author in the account described in this book, so there is some good information about Bigfoot noted. I would need to interview this couple myself, if I was ever going to change my mind about whether this book was actually a true account or not. I would need to know that Gail and her husband were in fact real people and I hope my experience would tell me if they we in fact telling a true story.

Bigfoot Attack A True Story eBook Barry Silverfoot Reviews
Good story, but not worth $5. Maybe $0.99 at best.
This story captivates the reader from its beginning even though it is a short read. Mind you it's telling about an experience one woman had while hiking a trail deep in the Forrest. Having read many books on the topic of Bigfoot over the years Gails story and experience sheds a new light of these primitive beings of the woods. Understanding that the experience would have up-setted her, it surprises me that she still owns the cabin located in the area where it all happened still today.
For whatever reason I commend her in allowing her husband to share her story but would encourage that it would be better told if Gail told her story from her perspective and feelings.
Still an amazing look into the many facets of the illusive Beasts of the Forrest's!
Twenty minutes of my life that I will never get back. Should have skipped over this book for sure (
This story has many elements in common with various other reports. Nothing in it seems outside the limits of bigfootbehaviors others have recounted. I enjoyed the story, but just wish it were longer.
Very quick read but very engaging. I was caught up in her horrific story as if I was there. Believable!
I chose this rating because I've hiked alone in the Adirondacks as she did, but I had an aggressive dog with me and I didn't go off the trail. This woman would go off the trail and tie bright colored ribbons to the trees to find her way back. She was taken to a bigfoot lean-to, but I won't give the story away. It was hot in the lean-to and she fell asleep all afternoon! Obviously she survived to tell the tale and it was a good one, and I won't say anymore.
This is a very good story that is well told. It is pretty well written, using pretty good grammar and had only a few typos. It flows smoothly and reads easily. It gives a good description of the bigfoot's physical appearance and behavior. The story is believable. The behavior of the bigfoots coincides with other believable accounts I've read. Although this story is not long, I feel it was worth the price because it was so good.
